Sumiva Concentrate
gives you the POWER OF MORE
Sumiva Concentrate works both indoors and outdoors so you can treat more places saving you time.
As a juvenile hormone mimic, which acts as an insect growth regulator (IGR). It prevents eggs, larvae and nymphs from maturing into reproductive adults. This helps disrupt their growth and development. It can be applied with a non-IGR adulticide to kill existing adult insects while disrupting the growth of further generations of insects.
Also known as NyGuard IGR in Singapore.

Technical Analysis of NyGuard® IGR Concentrate (SUMIVA)
Based on the official data from Sumitomo Chemical, the product analysis is broken down into the following "Practical Evaluation" logic:
1. The "Photo-stable" Advantage: Indoor & Outdoor Versatility
Most conventional IGRs (like Methoprene) are highly sensitive to UV light and are restricted to indoor, dark environments. They often decompose within hours when exposed to direct sunlight.
Practical Value: Sumiva's photo-stability allows it to maintain residual efficacy for weeks or even months on exterior perimeters, refuse areas, and landscaping. For PCOs, this dramatically reduces "callbacks" from clients complaining about pests returning shortly after treatment.
2. Broad Spectrum Value: Targeting Darkling Beetles
Darkling Beetles are a significant challenge, particularly in the poultry industry (chicken coops), where they act as vectors for various avian diseases.
Practical Value: Sumiva’s ability to remain active in high-organic matter and high-pressure environments proves its formulation robustness. It is a critical tool for biosecurity in livestock production.
Cons (Common user complaints):
Slow Results: If used alone, pests will still be visible for a while. Since it doesn't kill adults, you must wait for the existing population to die off naturally without being replaced, which can take several weeks.
Requirement for Tank Mixing: For an immediate "knockdown" effect, it must be mixed with an adulticide, which increases initial chemical costs and operational complexity.
4. The EPA "Reduced Risk" Endorsement
In tenders for food processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, or high-end hospitality, safety certifications are the "barrier to entry."
Technical Detail: The active ingredient, Pyriproxyfen, has an extremely low mammalian toxicity—lower than common table salt. This grants Sumiva an unparalleled safety profile for application in Food Handling Areas, meeting the strictest compliance standards.
3. "Life Cycle Disruption" as a Business Value
In B2B communication, "inhibiting maturation" translates directly into "Long-term Cost Reduction".
Sales Pitch: "Traditional insecticides only fight the fire (killing adults), but Sumiva removes the fuel (eliminating the next generation). By tank-mixing Sumiva with an adulticide, you extend the service interval, moving from reactive treatments to proactive management."
